Our Story
A Tradition
The Knox County Fair has been bringing our community together since 1809, making it a tradition more than 200 years in the making. For generations, families have gathered at the fairgrounds to celebrate agriculture, 4-H, friendly competition, great food, exciting entertainment, and the people who make Knox County such a special place to call home. From blue ribbons and livestock shows to carnival rides, grandstand events, and memories made with family and friends, the fair may change through the years—but the tradition behind it remains the same. More than a fair. It’s a Knox County tradition.
